Star of the Real World charged with San Diego DUI

Known to viewers as "Puck," Real World star David Rainey was arrested on March 27 for driving under the influence in San Diego. Jose Gaspar of Fallbrook was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol when he crossed the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic and struck Archie Barnes also of Fallbrook. Barnes was seriously injured with a broken left femur and was taken to Palomar Hospital following the accident. Woman charged with gross vehicular manslaughter with prior DUI convictions in Orange County

Suzanne Carlson, 27 of Mission Viejo went to trial in Westminster for second-degree murder. Ms. Carlson who has three prior drunk driving charges is on trial with her fourth DUI after rear ending a semi which killed her passenger in January 2007. Ms. Carlson and Scott Turner were seen drinking for over 2 hours in a Rancho Santa Margarita restaurant when Ms. Carlson drove Turner's Infinite on the 91 freeway and crashed it into a Fed-Ex truck. LAPD Police Officer Dies In Motorcycle Crash After Drinking

An LAPD officer was killed in a motorcycle crash after drinking at a bar on the department's training academy campus. It is unclear as to whether or not the officer continued to drink at another bar, but the case is currently under investigation. It has been noted that the officer's blood alcohol content was over the legal limit when he was driving his motorcycle and crashed about 3 miles from the academy. When a person chooses to drink and drive, then they are willingly putting their life and many other lives at risk. Teen arrested for felony California DUI

California Highway Patrol out of Nevada County, California has released a statement that Seth Rinker, 18, was charged with felony drunk driving when he and two peers were involved in serious accident on Thursday night. A passenger was flown to a local hospital with broken bones and lacerations after Rinker allegedly made an unsafe turn, hitting a curb and crashing into a ditch. According to reports all of those in the vehicle were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident and the other passengers suffered minor injuries. Rinker is being held on $25,000 bail at the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. Alleged pregnant drunk driver involved in accident with another DUI suspect

On Wednesday night the intersection of Whittier Boulevard and Concourse Avenue was the scene of a horrific crash where a pregnant woman who was allegedly driving under the influence collided with another drunk driver. The crash occurred at 2 am in Montebello. The Montebello Fire Department has released a statement that four people were injured and at least one person was ejected during the crash.
