Star of the Real World charged with San Diego DUI

Known to viewers as "Puck," Real World star David Rainey was arrested on March 27 for driving under the influence in San Diego. Rainey was seriously injured in an accident allegedly caused by his inability to control the vehicle due to his level of intoxication. California Highway Patrol reports that Puck will also be charged with driving without a license and child endangerment as his 8 year old son Bogart was in the car with him. San Diego DUI and Hit and Run causes serious injuries

Jose Gaspar of Fallbrook was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol when he crossed the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic and struck Archie Barnes also of Fallbrook. Barnes was seriously injured with a broken left femur and was taken to Palomar Hospital following the accident. Gaspar could be charged with a felony DUI, felony Hit and Run and driving without a license following the incident. The California Highway Patrol reports that Gaspar fled the scene of the accident but was immediately caught. He was treated for non-serious injuries and booked in the Vista Jail. Anchorwoman arrested for La Jolla DUI

Allison Ross, anchorwoman for KFMB-TV for twelve years during 1978 to 1989 was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence last weekend. Ms. Ross was driving on the wrong side of the road at around 4 am Sunday according to the San Diego Police Department. Ross, also worked as an anchorwoman for KNSD for two years after leaving KFMB.
