Rodney King Arrested for Driving Under the Influence

California DUI Rodney King, 46, who is most known as a symbol of police brutality, has been arrested for driving under the influence.

Officers arrested King late Tuesday afternoon after they spotted him committing several traffic violations in a 1994 Mitsubishi and arrested him for a California DUI. It is unclear whether King was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

According to the NY Daily News, since the 1991 brutal attack by Los Angeles police, which resulted in several fatal riots, King has had multiple run-ins with law enforcement and has even appeared on reality shows "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" and "Sober House".

Crash Results in DUI for NFL Player

Lorenzo Neal, a former NFL and Fresno State football player, has been arrested for drunk driving in Fresno.

The accident occurred around 4:30pm Monday afternoon in Fresno when Neal's Ford F-150 truck went off the side of the road and crashed into a pole. Officers determined that Neal's blood alcohol level was above the legal limit however after he was arrested for driving under the influence, he was cited and released to a friend at the scene. Neal later denied that he was arrested but did confirm and acknowledge that an incident had occurred.

According to the Fresno Bee, Neal is listed as the chief information officer for a company called Safe Ride Solutions. The company offers confidential rides for intoxicated driver and Neal has been quoted saying that he feels drinking and driving is a major problem and affects people from all walks of life and segments of society.

Correction Officer Hits Parked Cars, Gets Arrested for DUI

David Perrault, 43, crashed into multiple parked vehicles before he was arrested for driving under the influence.

The Sacramento correction officer was seen trying to leave a Safeway shopping center in his blue Mustang when he hit over four parked vehicles before damage to his own vehicle prevented him from driving further. According to News 10, two witnesses detained Perrault as he walked out from his car holding a bottle of peppermint schnapps wrapped up in t-shirt and attempted to flee the scene of the accident. Upon arrival, officers arrested Perrault for causing a DUI-related accident and he was booked at the local jail.

Comedian Arrested for Public Drunkenness

Andy Dick, 45, was arrested for a public drunkenness charge after becoming belligerent at a Marie Callender's restaurant late Monday night.

The actor and comedian entertainer was arrested after becoming argumentative and refused to leave the Temecula restaurant. According to PE.com, Dick was at the restaurant alone and was not in any condition to care for himself. Officers jailed Dick around 9:20pm but he was later released after he sobered up. This is Dick's 2nd arrested for public drunkenness, with the most recent being in 2008 at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Murrieta.

Radio Show Host Arrested For DUI

Harry M. Teinowitz, 50, has been arrested on suspicion of DUI in Skokie Friday night.

According to the Huffington Post, the ESPN 1000's hit radio show personality, known for the show The Afternoon Salon, was driving his Nissan SUV on Greenwood Street when officers pulled him over for improper lane usage. Officers arrested Teinowitz after they noticed signs of intoxication and is being held on a $1,000 bond.

Christina Aguilera Arrested for Being Drunk in Public

The "Genie in a Bottle" and "Beautiful" singer was arrested early Tuesday morning for public drunkenness.

LA Times Blog states that Christina Aguilera, 30, was a passenger of a car when the driver was pulled over in West Hollywood and arrested for a DUI in California. Aguilera was taken into custody for being drunk in public but was later released on $250 bail.

Detrot Tigers Player Arrested for DUI

An all-star baseman for the Detroit Tigers has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Florida.

Miguel Cabrera was on the side of the road when officers pulled up to check on him. Fox Sports Detroit states that officers noticed obvious signs of intoxication such as the scent of alcohol, bloodshot and water eyes as well as slurred speech. On top of this, officers state that they observed Cabrera take a drink out of a bottle of James Buchanan Scotch. As officers were trying to get him into the patrol car, Cabrera resisted. The baseman was booked into the local county jail but was later released on a $1,350 bond.

18 Year Old Celebrity Arrested for DUI

MTV reality star Shane Sheckler has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in San Clemente.

The 18 year old "Life of Ryan" actor was driving erratically in his white GMC truck when officers pulled him over Saturday morning. OC Weekly states that Sheckler showed obvious signs of intoxication, was booked into a nearby jail but was released hours later.

"Dodgeball" Actor Arrested for DUI

Alan Tudyk, known for his roles in "Dodgeball" and "Death at a Funeral" was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Soquel.

Santa Cruz Sentinel states that the actor was speeding 40 mph in a 25mph zone just north of downtown Soquel. Tudyk was arrested without incident after he declined to take a breath test and failed a field sobriety test.

Former Angles Baseball Player Arrested for DUI

Adam Kennedy, a former Angels' baseball player, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence in Newport Beach.

The OC Register states that the 35 year old Riverside native was driving on the 55 freeway at around 9pm on Wednesday when he was pulled over. Kennedy, who now is a second baseman for the Seattle Mariners, was booked in an OC jail but then released several hours later.

Vince Neil from Motley Crue Sentenced to Jail for DUI

Vince Neil, 49, was charged with a DUI in Las Vegas and has been sentenced to 15 days in jail.

The Motley Crue singer was driving a black Lamborghini in June of 2010 when he was arrested for a DUI. According to OnTheRedCarpet.com, Neil was fined $585, will be on house arrest and will have to attend a drunk driving abatement school and watch a victim impact video on top of his jail sentence.
