Adema Bassist Arrested for 2008 DUI

David DeRoo, a rocker known for being in the band Adema, has been arrested for a previous DUI causing bodily harm.

The singer and bassist was charged with driving under the influence after a collision January 2011 in Bakersfield and pleaded no contest in 2008. Upon violation of probation, a warrant for DeRoo's arrest was put out in June 2010. According to Courant.com, DeRoo was about to take stage for a concert in Connecticut when he was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice and is currently being held on a $1 million bond.

Cardinals star Joey Porter arrested for Bakersfield DUI

Joey Porter, former Pittsburgh Steelers player, was arrested for driving under the influence in Bakersfield in a Taco Bell parking lot. California Highway Patrol reports that Porter was uncooperative when questioned. He refused to provide his driver's license and tried to roll up the window. Reportedly, Porter slapped the officer's hand when he tried to unlock the door. A passenger was also arrested. An arrest for a Bakersfield DUI can be costly and affect all aspects of your life.
