Fatal DUI Crash Sends 22 Year Old To Prisons

Justin Speed, 22, was arrested and charged for causing a driving under the influence crash that took the life of a young woman last year.

The Fallon man was returning home from his brother's funeral when his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado veered into oncoming traffic. Unfortunately, Speed's truck collided with 19-year-old Samantha Sibis's 1983 Volvo station wagon, killing her instantly. According to the Lahontan Valley News, Speed's blood alcohol level was .231, well above the .08 legal limit and he was sentenced to 12 years in prison for causing the fatal DUI-related accident.
