California Woman Arrested for DUI After Causing Accident
A vehicle crash on the I-5 has resulted in a female driver being arrested for driving under the influence.
According to the Contra Costa Times, the female was driving in a Lexus IS300 down the 5 freeway, north of East Burbank Boulevard, when she hit the back of a truck. The truck driver was not injured, however the Lexus driver was taken to the hospital for a precautionary check; the female driver was then taken to the local Glendale jail and has been booked on DUI offense.
