Alan Tudyk, known for his roles in "Dodgeball" and "Death at a Funeral" was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Soquel.
Santa Cruz Sentinel states that the actor was speeding 40 mph in a 25mph zone just north of downtown Soquel. Tudyk was arrested without incident after he declined to take a breath test and failed a field sobriety test.

Among all cities in California, Huntington Beach has had the most DUI collisions in 2009.
According to the Huntington Beach Independent, the city ranked number one among other cities with populations between 100,000 and 250,000. A recent statement by the Office of Traffic Safety reports 195 people were injured or killed due to alcohol-related accidents. A Temecula mother caused a DUI related fatal accident and has been arrested on three counts of DUI causing injury and suspicion of murder.
Karen Honeycutt, 41, was driving with her three children when she struck a tree and utility pole in a center divider around 3pm on Thursday. According to the Press-Enterprise, two out of three of Honeycutt's children were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle killing the 9 year old daughter and breaking the 17 year old's back. Honeycutt's 8 year old son was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident and suffered moderate injuries.

Adam Kennedy, a former Angels' baseball player, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence in Newport Beach.
The OC Register states that the 35 year old Riverside native was driving on the 55 freeway at around 9pm on Wednesday when he was pulled over. Kennedy, who now is a second baseman for the Seattle Mariners, was booked in an OC jail but then released several hours later.

Vince Neil, 49, was charged with a DUI in Las Vegas and has been sentenced to 15 days in jail.
The Motley Crue singer was driving a black Lamborghini in June of 2010 when he was arrested for a DUI. According to OnTheRedCarpet.com, Neil was fined $585, will be on house arrest and will have to attend a drunk driving abatement school and watch a victim impact video on top of his jail sentence.

Francisco V. Santayo, 22, escaped a low-security Irvine jail during a mandated alcohol-abuse class. Santayo, along with 13 other inmates, were taken to a Spanish language class for an hour when jail officials noticed that only 13 inmates returned.
According to OC Register, a security guard on Irvine Boulevard noticed an orange jumpsuit-clad man getting into a red vehicle; once officers were notified, the vehicle had left the area. Officers believe that the getaway was pre-arranged. Santayo has a criminal history of property crime; however, he does not have any violent crimes and is not a threat to the community.

Lorna Gollihar, a school bus driver, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday evening in Stockton.
According to KCRA.com, the Turlock Unified School District driver was weaving and running cars off of State Route 99 in Stockton when officers pulled her over. After failing the field sobriety tests, Gollihar was arrested and booked at the San Joaquin County Jail with a DUI and BAC of .08% or more. No children were on the bus when Gollihar was driving.

Hugo Alberto Reynoso, 40, was arrested for driving under the influence on Lakeville Highway. According to the Petaluma360, Reynoso was spotted weaving and driving 78 mph in a 55 mph zone near Browns Lane.
Once stopped, the California Highway Patrol officer noticed signs of intoxication and performed field sobriety tests. Upon further investigation, an officer found out Reynoso was in violation of probation, driving without a license, had two previous DUI convictions and has been booked at a Sonoma County jail.

Eleven DUI's were given on Saturday evening, when more than 1,500 cars drove through a California sobriety checkpoint in Huntington Beach.
The Orange County Register states that on Beach Blvd. and Speer St., Huntington Beach police conducted 42 sobriety tests, handed out 10 citations for driving on a suspended license or not having a license and had 6 cars impounded. Between the hours of 9:30pm and 3a.m, officers worked diligently to protect the public by removing intoxicated motorists from the streets while handing out more than 500 P roject Path pamphlets on the dangers of drinking and driving.

Judson Birza, winner of the last season's "Survivor" TV show, was skateboarding on the streets of Santa Monica when he was arrested and booked in jail for being under the influence.
According to TMZ, Birza was illegally riding his skateboard when officers stopped him and noticed that he was under the influence. Officers booked Birza for a DUI related warrant and violation of probation. He is currently being held on a $37,000 bail.

The Long Beach Post states that Long Beach officers are trying to reduce the amount of alcohol-related accidents and will be stopping motorist to check for driver's license and signs of intoxication.

Donald Ray Wurster, 27, was charged with driving on a suspended license and being a habitual driver. Officers spotted Wurster driving Friday evening with three passengers in his car.
According to the Petaluma360.com, Wurster has had four convictions of driving without a license, a collision and six traffic violations in the past year. If convicted as a habitual traffic offender, Wurster could be looking at paying a $1,000 fine as well as spending 30 days in jail and having his license revoked.

Devin Dwyer, a Huntington Beach councilman, is trying to get the Police Department to post information and booking pictures from California DUI offenders up on a popular networking site.
According to the Huntington Beach Independent, voting will take place on Monday afternoon at the City Hall on whether the local police department will post information on Facebook. Dwyer believes that by posting multiple DUI offender's information will shame them into not repeating the offense as well as inform the public of those driving under the influence.

At around 1:30am last night, five bicycles were cited for a California bicycle DUI after officers received a phone call that a bicycle has lost control and crashed into the pavement.
According to KCRA.com, officers could smell alcohol and conducted field sobriety tests to approximately 15 bicyclists who were all riding on both sides of the road with any helmets and barely visible to motorists. Five of those including the crash victim, all between the ages of 18 and 22, were arrested, cited for riding under the influence and released.

Leslie Dayka, 64, from Santa Barbara was arrested and booked at the county jail for a Santa Barbara DUI after he side-swiped a vehicle while driving on the wrong side of the road.
LompcoRecord.com states that CHP received numerous phone calls about a vehicle driving the wrong-way northbound on Highway 101. The road was temporarily shut down after Dayka's 2001 VW sedan hit a 2007 Dodge sedan; there were no injuries reported.

Scott Metcalf, 27, was arrested for a DUI after crashing his 2010 Toyota Tacoma into a utility pole in San Luis Obispo. After crashing, Metcalf fled from the scene but officers were able to locate him and arrested him for driving under the influence. He was booked into county jail and his DUI bail was set for $5,000.
According to SanLuisObispo.com, the 200 block of Higuera Street, where the accident occurred, was closed off for 2 hours as the utility lines were being fixed. Thankfully, no one was injured.

| 27 Year Old San Luis Obispo Man Charged with DUI After Crash »
Alex Michael Gary, 19, was arrested early Sunday morning for suspicions of vehicular manslaughter and a California felony DUI after he caused a fatal accident on the westbound 10 freeway.
According to the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, Gary was driving 80 mph near Via Verde in San Dimas when he failed to slow down for stopped traffic and struck a Honda Civic, killing Viet H. Le and Thuan Trieu and injuring driver Ly Trinh Nguyen. The Honda then struck a Toyota Camry, injuring a 3 year old female passenger. Gary's vehicle continued to lose control and subsequently struck an ambulance, but no one inside was injured.

Orange County will be seeing a DUI checkpoint tonight starting at 6pm. According to Best of OC Events, there will be a checkpoint in Costa Mesa, at 17th Street and Raymond Avenue.
Officers will be monitoring the checkpoint from 6pm through 11pm tonight and looking for signs of intoxication; if officers believe that you are, in fact, under the influence they will ask for you to perform sobriety tests.

Jaime Pressly, 33, known for her role in hit TV show "My Name Is Earl" and movie "Rules of Engagement", was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. Late Wednesday night, Ms. Pressly was pulled over for an alleged traffic violation. She was asked to perform a field sobriety test and was arrested and booked. The two-time Emmy nominee was taken to a Santa Monica jail where, according to TMZ, she was held on a $15,000 bond. Currently, it is unclear whether Jaime Pressly has been released.

Joel Thomas Toovey, 19, has been arrested on the suspicion of driving under the influence in San Diego. Mr. Toovey, an enlisted Marine at Camp Pendleton, was driving a pickup with passenger Lance Cpl. Andrew T. Tjhung, also 19.
According to Sign on San Diego, Mr. Toovey was driving down I-805 in San Diego when he lost control of the vehicle, striking a parked tow truck on the shoulder of the freeway. Actress Lindsay Lohan, 24, is in violation of her probation for attacking a Betty Ford clinic worker. Ms. Lohan was ordered to stay in rehab through 2011 to "prevent her from partying over New Year's" however, she was seen leaving the clinic after she "became belligerent, pushed her and snatched a phone from her hand, straining her arm" KTLA.com states, after a clinic worker tried to obtain a breathalyzer test from Ms. Lohan.
This violation of probation can get the "Mean Girls" actress to face additional jail time. Ms. Lohan has already served two stays in rehab and two in jail in 2010 alone for her 3 ½ year old DUI case. The investigation will be forwarded to the district attorney's office for further investigation.
