Costa Mesa man charged with Orange County DUI

27-year-old Jeffrey Scott Marshall was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in Orange County late last month when his Infinity G35 struck a Ford F150 causing it to hit a pedestrian. The victim was taken to the Western Medical Center in Santa Ana after sustaining a head injury. The accident occurred at 12:11 am on the residential street of Placentia Avenue, north of 17th street. According to Costa Mesa Police Department, the 56 year old victim had stepped out of his Ford F150 to open a gate when the Infinity hit the F150 causing it to veer into him.
